Before he played your party, he built the rooms everyone talked about.
Most DJs learn to read a crowd. Ricky Hall built the crowds. As the owner of The Peach — one of Rome, Georgia's premier nightclubs — and later the owner of Empire, Ricky didn't just spin records. He ran the whole show: the sound, the lights, the energy, the nights people still talk about years later.
At Empire, countless celebrity artists came through and rocked the stage. Night after night, Ricky learned exactly what it takes to turn a room full of strangers into one big party — and how to keep it going until the lights come up.
He's also a builder of people. Ricky mentored a young DJ named D-low — giving him his first real shot at his clubs — and D-low went on to become an internationally known DJ. That's the kind of eye Ricky has: he knows what great looks like, because he's spent 30+ years creating it and passing it on.
Today, that same energy, that same state-of-the-art equipment, and that same instinct for the perfect song at the perfect moment show up at weddings, corporate events, mitzvahs, and birthdays across Georgia and beyond.
